  • I don't know how serious you are with this post, but as a leftist I often feel like I am very lonely in terms of political companions since everyone I know is either close to the center or far-right. I therefore think that the more comrades there are out there the better, and it would suck to lose any more of you.

An assortment of articles from journalists working in Mexico, some book from the library(in my national language so not sure what their English title would be) and Wikipedia articles.

Especially any part that deals with female prostitution was some of the most blackpilled and grotesque stuff I've read online, the depravity of the perpetrators is still haunting my mind.

    CW, it's pretty brutal stuff.

I've been reading a bit about organized crime in Mexico recently and holy shit it's fucking bleak, it's as if they took a Cormac McCarthy book and used it as their constitution. Just mindless and meaningless violence, brutality, assault, oppression and tyranny caused in large part by US drug policies and a nihilistic capitalism that tolerates the absolute worst kinds of brutality done to humans for the sake of insatiable greed. Finding it pretty hard not to feel hopeless about South America, it's like American foreign policy just completely obliterated most hope for a better future from that region.

My take: being pessimistic sort of implies that you had hopes for the political process of the country. Hope which has subsequently been thwarted by the nihilistc devotion towards the rulling class by the political elite and the fact that the best thing they could present us was these two senile oligarchs shitting their brains out on stage.

I think most of the people who wrote "Annoyed" correlate to the mass populance who generally don't care for politics and tune out when they see how both of them clearly do not offer any hope for the country.
