I mean, plenty of people accused an actual sitting president. So why not the son? People accused hunter Biden of basically every other crime under the sun.
I'll never understand the people that have their photo archive linked to a chat app.
Where I live, line is the de facto standard. Soooo many people don't use any backup and just count on line to manage their pictures. Some dude went viral for losing 10years worth of family pictures when he went from iPhone to android. Line is a shit all that doesn't do any migration past 14days when changing os.
Just use Google photos and never think about it again? Or use self hosted stuff if you don't like the cloud. But for the love of God, don't count on the chat app...
The Hitler of this generation? And he doesn't even realize it himself... Shithead
Been using it for close to 10 years. Never had a single serious issue with it. Apps break now and then. A simple reboot of the server or the app fixes it every single time.
A lot of public torrents download and seed at insane speeds. Like "must be in the same building or even the same disk" speeds.
This year has had an amazing start with indie titles so far imo. All cheaper than full blown triple A games.
And then rimworld is getting a new expansion, what more can you wish for?
Tbh, I kinda agree. I have a tendency to go back to evergreen games because of their time limited content I don't want to miss out. Even if I find the actual game I'm playing objectively better. (eg bg3, totk, jedi survivor 2. Dropped them all after 10-20h and went back to farming shitty cod cameos and wow gear...)
I've lived in 4 different countries, in multiple cities. I've never experienced a blackout in my entire life. Such a foreign concept to me (I'm very fortunate I guess :))
Upgrading my cpu in the coming days. Was on the fence between amd and Intel. Guess this makes it easy to decide. Amd it is.
That is so cool to see. Had never seen this page. Thx for sharing!
Half the time I can't install games from gamepass. On steam I install a game in 5m. On gamepass I have to schedule installing a game 2d in advance and hope at some point overnight it installs. Sucks so hard, because I actually like it. But it's such a drag to actually use, I just don't...
If you look closely, you can see he's crying.
A young women having 8+ abortions? Those pro lifers think a women gets pregnant every other week when having a normal healthy sex life?
Proprietary, yes, from a Foss pov it's not good I guess
Owned by ex opera ppl: that's a good thing tbh. Old opera was fantastic. New opera is more fishy after they were acquired by a Chinese group.
There is a lot of browser love in Vivaldi tbh. They are very open and transparent. Haven't found a single red flag about Vivaldi (aside from not being FOSS, which for me isn't a red flag per se)
They even run their own Mastodon servers for their community ;)
I don't use brave, but I use Vivaldi.
The main reason for me is native mouse gestures. They are so much better than addon mouse gestures.
And speed dials. Addon ones are okayish, but I prefer the Vivaldi implementation.
If Firefox would ever ass native mouse gestures, I would swap in an instant. Until then, no can do :(
No native gestures = no go
That is one cool mural. A few of them are totally new to me, cool
5/10.
I've read them all multiple times, since my childhood. But some of them were hard as a casual tintin fan :)
I've gotten some good book recommendations through tiktok. But at the same time, the average tiktok video gives me like 3-5 recommendations. I see multiple of these videos every day. My to read list basically requires me stop working and live until my mid 250s to read everything....
I mean, I know lemmy has an open source hardon and hates anything walled, but is this really such a bad thing? Google is getting rid of a bunch of shitty apps and risky apps. Nothing is stopping you from still sideloading them if you really need them.
I really fail to see the actual issue aside from "google bad"
