The rhetoric in the apology doesn't make sense, because it assumes that the people who posted in those communities were all first-worlders with imperial core privilege, which is an absurd assumption to make without doing any investigation. I'm very surprised by how this is being presented as something so clearly true that there doesn't need to be any evidence or testimony to back it up, only vibes.
