Perhaps so. I'm in the US where lingo goes that "Democrats" & "Liberals" are "left", " Republicans" & "Conservatives" are "right".
Not sure how that translates globally, so apologies if it's confusing...
Lol!!!! No, no, no!! My centrism is not arbitrary!! I don't try to find a "middle ground" where waterfalls go both ways!!! Love the visual though!
I align with the political right on some issues, and the left with others. And in American politics I find the rhetoric & tribalism of both political parties ridiculous - so I can't identify with either.
Generally I lean left of center, but I can't go "full left" because I think the left has some blind spots. And liberals do this annoying thing where they seem to be always be falling all over themselves to prove how self-righteous & progressive they are, & they wind up alienating left-leaning people like me as a result.
There's no room for centrists on the internet. I seem to only find centrists in real life, face-to-face. I guess we aren't loud but we're here.
(Now here come the downvotes....)
What I do:
The result is a cluttered inbox, sure, and that's not "minimal". But it does minimize the impact on my psychology. I don't need another chore, and email sorting is an infinite chore.

I'm very skeptical that this "model poisoning" approach will work in practice. To pull it off would require a very high level of coordination among disparate people generating the training data (the images/text). I just can't imagine it happening. Add to that: big tech has A LOT of resources to play this cat & mouse game.
I hope I'm wrong, but I predict big tech wins here.
Surprised the rates of adblocking is so high! I thought it was a little more niche.
Also surprised that the article didn't mention manifest v3 rolling out later this year to Chrimium-based browsers - which will effectively end adblocking in all browsers except Firefox.
Google isn't stupid, they know that ad blocking undermines their business. And Google controls Chromium: the backbone of almost all browsers. So of course they're going to engineer it to prevent ad blocking. It was only a matter of time.
This is a cool idea!
Oatmeal w/ nuts, dried fruit, & honey. Very cheap & good for you.
There's a version of Debian whose desktop environment is just the CLI. (I learned the "fun way" at first boot whilest helping a friend install Linux on their machine). It was certainly a lightweight, fast, & easy installation, I'll say that! Lol!
GZDoom!! There are so many great mods! Search YouTube for some "best" mod recommendations.

Unpopular opinion: home automation is overblown. Except for the disabled or edge cases the convenience these solutions add are comparable to the inconvenience they bring (added expensive, harder to maintain, repair, replace, etc).
I'll get out of bed to turn off the lights.

This article needed a better ai to write it .
I sneak up behind her and give her "tiger rubs", which is aggressive up & down motion on the ribs & side meat.
