Decimals don't matter for you and you are pushing that to everyone as a way to delegitimize my point.

I use Celsius and they matter to me. I can and do notice a difference between setting my thermostat to 21.5 vs 22 vs 22.5. You don't whatever.

I said I was using Celsius but because I had a complaint you decided I was outside of your accepted user group and my statement was BS.

    Its bullshit.

Meh I'm about 50/50 4 air conditioners in. Half degrees has not been all that uncommon and it's up and down arrows to adjust it. I don't get the handwaving of legitimate points of comtention to make Celsius seem more perfect. Everything has its flaws. It's completely fine to admit that.

I've been all over the world. Trust me seeing 21.6 or other decimals is not uncommon you and others are really just pushing hard on the ideas that there is no flaws and none of the quirks of Celsius.

I literally just set an air conditioner to 20.5°C. I don't get why lie like this.

I'm gonna be honest. I love Celsius for the the whole perfect math reasons with calories and water based measurement...

But the curve on temps is a pain when all the nice temperatures require using a decimal place to decide just how slightly above or below pleasant it is but cold is basically everything from 16°C to -30°C And then decimals really matter when hotter than pleasant temps.

Whole rounded integers are just so vastly different depending how high or low you are in Celsius.

  • No its just as a new hustle you're brain will be used to power some rich person's "self driving" car because honestly humans are still better at on the fly decisions and the legal benefits of being able to blame a person making pennies in a sleep pod help further enable our boring SciFi dystopia novel we are living in.

Got to further remove the poors from line of sight and the AI might not be good enough to replace everyone yet.

None of us are allowed to give lower than a 4 rating because of stupid contract based work apps and an algorithm that decides to not show low value options below 4 stars or allow for them anywhere.

It's bled into so many things but the ratings between 2 -> 7 might as well all mean the same thing.

  • Its unpleasant and doesn't care if you don't get it. Cosmic Horror.

But like that's the actual point. A plot that just keeps happening cause something beyond the realm of human comprehension or comfort just steam rolling the plot while the humans try to keep a grip.

Horror is mostly about the feeling and adrenaline you get from the tension anyways. Hellraiseright be one of the best horror movies as well but it's for a crowd that likes body horror and it nails its vibes perfectly. Like Event Horizon nails "Space is Hell"

  • You know the sins aren't really like that in the original text and I've taken to thinking this is just a collection of rules to help make a more productive second class work force.

Don't be sitting around when you could be working and don't think that just because you did the work you can claim to own it.
Don't be wanting more or better either. And if you eat to much you will forget the hunger that pushes you to keep working.
Don't fight back and be thankful for what you get and nothing else.

I mean I get it sometimes the work needs to get done but christianity feels weaponized as a stick with a single carrot that you can never get to have cause it's been made up by the people getting beaten by the stick.
I don't want to be part of the chorus that exists eternal to praise Yahweh and nothing else.

  • Yeah, 3 times over the last decade but mostly in a row cause it's hard to claw your way back up. I found a storage unit was nice the second time cause as long as I knew I could only take a couple hour naps during the day all my stuff was at least safe at night and I just needed to find somewhere safe to hang out.

Last time I got lucky with a flop house that was cheap but... Definitely a flop house. I couldn't imagine it right now though. Been sheltered for a few years now and it certainly does seem rougher and the weather less helpful.

I'm shocked Hoovervilles haven't made a return but land is a lot more private now and people are more willing to obey the law.
