My housing complex strictly prohibits them, I can’t purchase one where I’m currently living because I have an out-of-state license, and I can’t legally purchase one in my home state as a medical cannabis cardholder. And they are expensive.

Yeah that’s one of the biggest drawbacks. I find that it’s less of a hassle after either mixing with a little bit of hot water (just enough that you can drink it without it being sludgy or grainy) or if you learn to toss and wash. But with hot water you still have to taste it, and with t&w it takes some time and mistakes (maybe coughing up a green cloud) to practice and get right.

As others have said, you could try lowering your dose or mixing with CBD flower if you have access. Otherwise, you could consider looking into kratom. It’s amazing for both relaxing or getting some stuff done. But be warned, dependency can become an issue with habitual use (although it’s nowhere near the struggle of actual opioids).

I still firmly believe that everyone on the internet is a liberal. Except me, of course.
