I don't really post here often but the situation in the hoi4 modding scene is agony-inducing. :agony-deep:
The lead dev of TNO, one of the biggest mods for hoi4 left development and the hoi4 community altogether after mass doxing and raiding by Kiwi farms and 4chan for being trans.
The dev was sent death threats and doxxed multiple times on many platforms, the situation has been ongoing but today she announced that she would be stepping down from the mod and the entire HoI4 community.

The powder toy is an expanded version of a falling sand type game a lot like this, it's free and open source.
I don't know how much time I've wasted just messing around with it. So if you want an expanded version of a game like this you should go check that out.

Kenshi has an anti-slaver faction that you help out by hunting down slave owners and traders. I think you need to kill a slave owning noble to even join the faction in the first place.
