  • This sent me on a journey because this is just too funny of a list to be real. Alas it is not real and was made by this person I linked below. I know Obama releases PR lists of stuff he probably isn't listening to every year but Destroy Lonely being here combined with like every song being a TikTok song tipped me off lol.

  • I used to like him on TikTok, has some good ideas in his head and can be good at articulating certain topics to a broad audience, but I feel like lately I see him spending his time on irrelevant BS.

Idk things feel bad in America so might he might as well waste his time with the people's party. Since there's no actual left wing movement in this country I'm a little hesitant to criticize peoples' cope sources, like realistically what could he be doing that's more productive lol

  • For games that actually came out this year I really liked Neon White, Ultrakill Act 2, God of War: Ragnarok, Pokemon Violet, and Pentiment. My GOTY is probably the Ultrakill Act 2, but if we only count whole games that came out this year I'll give it to God of War Ragnarok.

For stuff I played this year I played through all of FFXIV and its expansions and had an amazing time. Never really played an MMO, except for like Runescape many years ago, so that made everything new and exciting. Plus the story for it is incredible in a lot of ways. The community was also pretty nice and accepting in my experience. Counting every game I played this year, not just the ones that came out this year, I'd say this is my Top 10

    spoiler
    1. FFXIV and its expansions
    2. Ultrakill Acts 1 and 2
    3. Utawarerumono 2 and 3, some eyebrow raising stuff here but I could look past it
    4. It Takes Two
    5. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
    6. Virtue's Last Reward
    7. Nier Replicant
    8. Neon White
    9. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
    10. Pokemon Violet

The English bourgeoisie is charitable out of self-interest; it gives nothing outright, but regards its gifts as a business matter, makes a bargain with the poor, saying: "If I spend this much upon benevolent institutions, I thereby purchase the right not to be troubled any further, and you are bound thereby to stay in your dusky holes and not to irritate my tender nerves by exposing your misery.

  • It doesn't equal income, but Taibbi is wrong in a different way lol cause it doesn't mean whatever cultural signifiers he thinks it means. It's about your relationship to the means of production buddy!!! I kind of like Taibbi but he seems to be addicted to being wrong lately, he seems to go for the contrarian take about dumb bullshit
