I looked into Mycroft but sadly they have shutdown is appears. Their lead Dev left and went to work on Home Assistant. I think Home assistant is dominant in this space. But things aren't refined for plug and play use. Yet! They are making major strides in the space though.
I seen Microremoved Teams has a really nice summarize feature of meetings things like that are so nice even taking notes and asking questions about the topic. I will look into Siri. I hate apple as much as microshit but I need something mains stream as I don't have time to set things up. Otherwise I would go the HA route. A lot of the replies are missing the ask here. I'm looking for ways to aid in privacy of a plug and play system like an echo dot or siri, google home, etc. Such as behind a VPN, fake account, and more. Ways to protect myself from the bloodsuckers.
Desktop, Librewolf
Mobile Brave, Mull
I dig this. Especially the speech to text then run the command online. I'm afraid I don't have the current time to implement this and need big brand assistant quickly, I need advice on how to protect my privacy while using alexa, or google assistant, etc.. But damn this is nice. Almost exactly as one would want an AI setup really. Home assistant has came a long way and that is awesome. Those people do good work.
I really love the idea of setting this up. I keep up fairly with these types of projects. I just lack the time to implement this myself. Which is why I was mentioning a mainstream service and finding a way to privatize it. I plan to use the assistant for work. I work long hours. By the time I am done for the day I feel cooked. I need a relatively plug and play system. How could I help privatize say an echo dot? Or some other mainstream Voice Assistant.
Can you use say futo voice input with OpenAi's API why does one need to use whisper. And Wyoming seems to be an integration with home assistant.
I just bought 1500 dollars worth of over ears and ear buds all the top brands Bose quiet comfort ultras, Sony wf 1000xm5, Apple airpod pro gen 2, and JBL best one I forget the model, I also bought Jabra elite 10 gen 2 which has a wicked cool feature of plug into any device and it'll charge and stream to earbuds from TV or laptop whatever. I even tried Samsung galaxy bud pros. I tried these 500 dollars headphones by Sonos maybe or seinheisser? I forget the name but they sucked.
ANC Sony said was best, far from true like not even close. Best IMO I tried them all extensively even at a concert. With and without apps on a separate phone. ANC is best on BOSE, followed by Apple air pods gen 2 pro, then Jabra elite 10 gen 2, then Sony xm5, and JBL didn't even feel any noise canceling what so ever. I even bought open fit air over ears. None of the apps makes major difference. If you would like to Eq and tune settings you can setup and delete. Settings are synced to device and they stay. Order online save hundreds shop smart. Don't go with silicone ear tips if you are like me and loathe in ear feeling. Go with memory foam its an extra 20 wild difference on pressure, sweaty ear feeling, hours of use memory foam is top notch order online. Over ears you won't know your wearing them not headphones but open fit airs, sound leakage barely but also volume dependent, mic is sounds like a tin can on calls, avoid bone conduction seems cool leaks most sound. I tried over ears, on ears, in ears, bone conduction. Sony is best headphone style xm4 or xm5. Bose is best figment and ANC, sound balanced as well, I chose quiet comfort ultras after trying them all over days and hours of use. Any questions just ask!
I will check this out. I believe its similar to automate. Just need to check what's embedded in their apps. Tracking wise.
Where do I enable this function in the settings? My Bluetooth and WiFi always stay on draining my battery.
What about Mulls mobile DNS settings? Are they worth their salt or should one configure some other sort of setup?
What about Briar? I know its android only but it looks promising for what it can do.
F-droid session installer, aurora store for google play apps, second profile or 3 for main non invasive apps, google apps, then tor privacy app usage on 3rd. Create backups of each on a flash drive use experimental app data feature in settings. Storage scopes for google app usages, deny most permissions in all profiles, use the camera and mic block toggles. Setup distress in the settings. Download wasted app on fdroid if you like it for extra precaution and settings. Use private messengers. FUTO makes good voice dictation, password storage bit warden its pretty seamless to use. Don't use fingerprint or face ID. Go through the settings and tweak as you need.
Ghecko based browsers. Its due to sandboxing issues on mobile. Desktop is fine.
Edit: I don't know why your getting downvoted when what your saying is vague but true. Guess others want sources instead of they, and detailed info about the actual issue. It is simply a site isolation and sandboxing issue nothing more that I am aware of.
Phone, wallet, keys, 5 USB flash drives of various uses, sharpie, kershaw knife, multitool: I recommend the wave plus with bit kit and ratchet driver from leatherman, ChapStick, and lastly Glock 43x. Plus I usually tote a backpack around and that's a large list of goodies most people are shocked I use often. 32 oz insulated stainless tumbler and medication. If anyone has travel bag suggestions that's easy to carry unlike a backpack please speak up! Links are appreciated.
Big win. Step in the right direction. Now we just need some type of get back from the oil businesses and tycoons of the past. Take everything they have and use their scammed resources to pave the way forward.
It's good. I use it. Whoever made it did a great job.
I don't have a pi but I have a mini nuc like server PC. With mint installed.
I will look into molasses. I've tried fruit squeezes like lemon, limes, grapefruit, watermelon juice, cucumbers, and others. Doesn't cut it for my needs. I deal with like super dehydration. It can onset rapidly with my health conditions.
If your using good 2fa auth. and generated passwords you probably OK. It wasn't stated you had good measures in place. I was thinking more identity theft situation where someone could compromise your financials. If all they have is some medications, insurance, and basic info you really don't have major concerns. Now if they have your DoB, Social Security, Address, etc then that's where locking down all your accounts would be more appropriate. Your post sounded more severe than your reply here so that lead me to believe it was more dire.
I will look into this. Thanks. Rhasspy is super intensive for setup. Such a cool option but too niche currently for my use. EDIT: This is cool. Self hostable here a link for others to check it out. https://sepia-framework.github.io
