Social Democracy is an economic model and series of methods for changing wealth distribution. Where that wealth comes from really doesn't matter to what social Democracy is. The foreign policy carried out by the government or movement has no bearing on wether it's a Social Democracy. You can have Social Democracy that's Imperialist and derives its wealth from its empire, or you can have a Social Democracy of colonized states, of marginalized people.

You don't need to hate people based on the label attached to them. You can actually put that asside and judge them on their actual actions and beliefs.

About half the time I get into an argument with a Stalinist, the response is a copypasta, link, or quote which is usually completely irrelevant.

It's like they're pulling out of a "Stalin/USSR/China Good" bookmark folder instead of actually having any understanding of the issue. This impression is further strengthened by constantly using the phrase "material conditions" without ever explaining what those conditions are and what they mean.

Maybe an exageration, but take a look. Lots of it is legtimate.

Lots of women and trans folks complaining about the site culture. I've seen admins use that phrase a dozen times in one week of struggle session.
