I was one of those people flipping out about the Rockstar Social Club and Ubisoft Connect crap. There's zero need to force additional DRM on paying customers. We might not have all been vocal but we were around.
Nice to know Chinese EVs will be the choice for privacy-minded individuals in the US soon. Being cheaper than western brands is a nice big fat cherry on top.
Unfortunately there are some pump models that don't have a mute button now and the best you can do is retreat to the car and wait it out.
This is reminiscent of the dystopian "name and shame" displays China has for jaywalkers. Good job, tech bro! Another innovation in our developing surveillance state.

Got laid off four times when I was a temp worker for all of them. First time was when a major customer had a downturn in the oil market and I was the obvious choice by being one of the latest hires. I was brought in for a 15 minute meeting in the only conference room of the office and perp walked out by my asshole manager that same hour.
The other three were due to the contracts timing out (CA law forces companies to either convert contract workers to FTE after 2 years or lay them off). It's a lot less shocking when you know the date but it still sucks to count down the time. It didn't hurt to leave so much considering temp workers were treated as second class citizens like being excluded from company parties or not receiving bonuses so it was hard to get attached.
Manually transferred about 7TBs to my new Rpi4 powered NAS. It took a couple of days because I was lazy and transferred 15 GBs at a time which slowed down the speed for some reason. It could handle small sub 1 GB files in half a minute otherwise.
The Super Mario Bros /Duck Hunt cartridge.
I hope they marked the time since receiving the crunch wrap supreme during testing. They tend to get soggy over time and thus their material strength starts to decline.
That sounds great! What kind of job lets you work remotely and internationally?
Aluminum is F grade allomantic material.
The TSA is something that shouldn't exist in its current form. They very often fail their audit checks and normalize invading your privacy to an extreme degree like body scanners and pat downs. If water bottles are considered potentially explosive then why dump them on a bin next to a line of people where they can go off? This is low grade security theater that inconveniences passengers at best.
It could get a lot messier. Adding in a third variable of pressure would've made the measurements so much harder.
You're right about the bad cable. I have a collection of about 10 USB A to USB micro cables and only one of them showed up on lsusb! Thanks for the advice!
I get this as a result:
user@user-System-Product-Name:~/Downloads/CH341SER_LINUX$ sudo make Makefile
make: Nothing to be done for 'Makefile'.
I did what abominable_panda suggested and it returned a "wait_queue_t" and a couple of pointer type errors. I'm not sure if that's something that could be fixed with installing something else, but I'm not at all familiar with troubleshooting on this OS yet. The troubleshooting part you mentioned is if it successfully installed but there are issues. It doesn't quite explain the initial installation part.
As for cmnybo's question, I'm trying to program a ESP32 module with the Arduino IDE. I've tried just plugging it in and hoping the driver would already be installed but lsusb doesn't show it on the results.

I'd watch it in theaters if tickets didn't cost at least $15 with additional service fees if you try buying them online.
We're getting closer to the Patlabor future.
