It’s not perfect but PiHole will still catch a lot of the ads if you have the know-how to set one up. Tis a relatively cheap and easy solution that has the benefit of being able to block ads network-wide, providing your router lets you set a custom DNS.

I was absolutely obsessed with SR2 as a kid, replayed it so many times.

I think they could and absolutely should reboot it. The lore, the characters, the world was really something else. I think if they were to revisit it and utilise modern advances to really go HARD on the atmosphere and world design, it could be amazing.

The Dead Space remake is a perfect example of this. It’s stayed mostly true to the original and used the new graphical and lighting technology available to make the environment and atmosphere so much deeper and more immersive. I’ve heard the RE4 remake also did it well but I’ve not played it yet.

The geofencing thing feels like something Apple could easily resolve. When they review an app, they should just randomly spoof their location.

I intend to print out my favourite porno, frame by frame, then flip-book it. That should get me through a few months without power.

One thing I love about Redout 2 is they removed all the power ups from the first one and just made it a racing game. You can modify the ship’s cosmetics and performance parts to suit your play style, balancing speed, boost, handling, etc, and the sense of speed is amazing, highly recommend it for fellow Wipeout fans.
