No, you're not doomed because you didn't start "sooner." It's never too late to start. I started at 34. I'm in my late late 30s now. I turned out just fine. So will you. I don't know why people think it's too late to start. The changes will happen regardless.

I can relate with you. I was consistently depressed as a child so being trans kinda was completely unrecognized until my 30s. I felt melancholy at the start because I wish I had started sooner, but my chest still grew and my body still sculpted, so all is well at the end. Same goes for many I've known in their 30s and 40s.

  • CW: Bottom surgery discussion (nothing graphic or NSFW)

Almost all insurances cover bottom surgery. It's just a matter of deductible and OOP Maximum beyond that. My insurance from work is pretty top notch, so I didn't have to pay a single dime for either of my surgeries, so look out for that.

Of course, you must also get the letters requisite of said surgery in accordance with your insurance's guidelines as well as be on HRT and out as a woman (you can lie about this last part easily) for the prescribed length of time as well.

It's just a matter of mentally getting past it all until you can get to that point, which can be overly difficult. I had to live with it myself at one point. It isn't fun.

Those sound like PVCs and I've had them for almost 20 years. They're harmless.

Otherwise, hope you get better soon.
