  • I found the controls intriguing at first, but then frustrating. I like alternating the pedals, but balance should be accelerometer/tilt based, and braking could be stronger if you press both pedals at once. Finally I think the crank could have a little more intertidal - I often got my cranks stuck vertically, where neither one really goes anywhere.

  • The question is: why are you shaving? Why are you so afraid of looking like yourself?

When you have a beard, people respect you. They listen when you talk and hold doors open for you. I have a hard time trusting a man with a clean shaved face, because our interaction is starting off with a lie. I feel the same way about makeup and fake eyebrows and plastic surgery.

Have you looked at the community called thelyricsgame? A lot of the art is pretty amazing, generated from AI interpretations of the lyrics. But paying somebody is probably a good choice too.

  • If you’re like me, you could find out at age 38 who your true biological father is, and contact him for the first time. It may spiral you into an identity crisis, wondering if you should change your name and the name of your children. Here’s the thing though, my biological dad didn’t share his DNA. His first cousin did, and I contacted him.

As others have said, because you share your DNA with all of your relatives, it’s already not 100% private. One or more of your relatives has already tested their DNA. The most genetic privacy you can get would be for nobody to know who you’re related to. How tightly do you protect that information? Changing your name would be a good first step.

  • I looked into it a bit further and it seems the ATSC stream packets already contain built-in checksums! The interesting bit is that all the sub-channels are actually inter-mixed in one stream. So if you’re tuned to 13-1, your TV is reading and ignoring 13-2, 13-3 etc.

Unfortunately, I don’t know of any stream-correcting p2p network. I think it would start with a relatively open source tuner card. I think the tuner software is typically closed source, but it would be doing the work of reading the radio stream of a frequency and sending out an mpeg stream.
