One party ‘democracy’ absolutely is not democracy, it’s a dictatorship. The inability to establish new political parties is inherently anti-democratic. Also, since you mention the CIA document, here’s a document that refers to Stalin as an autocrat and dictator. I do appreciate that you aren’t hating on democracy, makes me glad lemm.ee never defederated hexbear.

I made my comment because I saw that Lemmygrad had been defederated from world and wanted to see if there was some particularly egregious behaviour. The ‘fully unrelated topic’ you mention is contained in the body of the post. The insistence on portraying the USSR as some kind of hero just because it was the most influential communist nation (socialist might be more accurate) is unnecessary given how extensively documented their many humanitarian issues are, and it is not an ideal communist state. Is it that much to ask that we recognise the failures of what has come before? There will never be successful implementation of socialism if that’s the kind of system we support.
