E.g., Constituency A has 10 constituents, Constituency B has 15 constituents, and Constituency C has 100 constituents; both A + B have a non-Lab/Cons party in first or second place; C has Lab first and Cons second. In that scenario, it wouldn't be true that "most people" live in a constituency where Lab or Cons are not both 1st or 2nd (where A-C is exhaustive).
I don't know how that would extrapolate to the real constituencies with their varying population/electorate figures. Certainly, it's a very uneven and strange system at present, which allows for all sorts of gerrymandering. But only given the sum of 20 constituencies (per your calculation) where Lab/Cons are not the top two, I don't think you can infer the situation for most people.
The elephant in the room, of course, is that this is literally only a problem in the United States. Everywhere else in the world, folks are totally fine using messaging apps. WhatsApp is pretty popular worldwide, and there are regional favorites too. But, the point is, it’s only in the States that people seem to be against this idea. The answer for why is very much up for debate, but the conversation is, at this point, just getting exhausting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but so long as you root with Magisk and configure the denylist, installing the SafetyNet Fix and changing the Props if you need to spoof a device ID, then you'll always be able to use Google Pay/contactless, regardless of whether on Lineage or another custom ROM.
When you say premium features, which exactly? I imagine you're referring to the xManager patched Spotify, which I also use, but it's not really premium. Ads cut out and can play an album without shuffle. But can't choose audio quality, download, etc
I'm a bit astonished how often I see this kind of thread, even here. It's like when people complain about FOSS apps charging subscriptions or standalone fees. How many times does it have to be pointed out that piracy as an activity does not define piracy as a movement or a collective?
I'm certain this simplistic "piracy = not paying for stuff" take can only come from a kind of ignorant individualism, one that lacks any structural analysis of why, when, and for what content people turn to piracy (and why, when, etc, they stop).
+1 for LT. The guy that runs it certainly has an open source ethos. The German one despite being a "Complete" series is frustratingly very incomplete, but that aside it was a useful way into the language. The word order explanations were particularly good. Everything is always free and the project as a whole is expanding with the help of volunteers and donations. It's a good thing to be a part of.
I would say that was the case in the UK generally about 5 years ago. But WhatsApp increasingly took over as the norm because it was clean, quick, relatively well encrypted, and made sending gifs and stickers easy and fun for the average user. Plus, the youth aren't only wedded to iPhones unlike the US increasingly.
This would be my preferred option, but: I do applaud OP's enthusiasm and dedication. He's learnt a lot of things about it, whereas because of my setup (as you described) I know fuck all. Plus, having his sort of setup gives you your own library over time (should that be desired).

As much as I thought her original comments were disappointingly wrongheaded, or at the very least poorly put, she's right about the procedural issues with this investigation. It stands as yet another example of the Starmer project's chief goal: to purge the party of its left.
Basically: American teenagers/kids think Android is backwards and uncool, even though this is false; Android historically and presently more capable than iOS etc. But big problem for Google in this market. Partly driven by fact that most popular Android phones are cheap and full of bloatware. Some optimism in the Pixel sales and Google should push their own hardware more to address the problem /end
