I have YouTube Premium though not the Family variant and Google won't just fix their app. It is way behind NewPipe or YouTube ReVanced. No, I don't need shorts. No I don't need constant nudges to join groups of YouTubers by paying after I just paid you money, Google!
What I want is system wide quality setting (what exactly does High or Data Saver mean; would it kill you to give 480p, 720p or 1080p as options) or Sponserblock integration (okay, this thing is probably never gonna happen but still). YouTube 's app is a stinking pile of shit. I just use YouTube Music from them and will cancel/not renew my plan after it lapses.
Yes, Amarok is also active again though it's UI is reasonably different from Clementine now.
I used it in the past on Linux and liked it's relatively small memory footprint though I am currently on Strawberry ( a fork of Clementine).
Is this what Google thinks people want than stuff like editing Playlist covers, removal of Samples, et al? I want my music player to be lean and simple, not a boggy useless mess.
Huh, I am hearing this source for the first time. I mostly used Mobilism and most of the apps from there used to come clean on Virus Total as well.
I think these guys might be able to hack through the process and get stuff done and think getting other people to follow them will be trivial as well. But just because they didn't mess up, doesn't mean other people won't. A large majority might end up hurting themselves if they follow in their route.
I just wrote it because it rhymed with the now memed 2004 anti piracy announcement You wouldn't download a car that was rightfully criticized.
That hardware giveaway thing is only available in couple of countries right now, US being one. Otherwise, one can be a Platinum member in other parts of the world and they would get nothing.
I just tried Tubular, a NewPipe fork and it works properly.
I recognized majority of the languages on the list but couple of them I am hearing for the first time admittedly like Blade and Crystal. I am not a programmer, so I guess that might be the reason.
Use nicotine as the client instead. It's arguably more user friendly and also stuffed with features. Most nix distros have it in their repos. You just need to share stuff on Soulseek(primarily music though some people share films as well).
Soulseek is filled to the brim with music, especially flac versions of songs.
Native gestures as in the gesture navigation system on Android?
Google notes that it “carves out” a dedicated portion of RAM to run Gemini on-device for the first time, preventing other apps from using that memory for a smoother AI experience.
What if I want zero AI on my phone? The Tensor processors heated up quickly in hot weather back in the day. I wonder if that has been fixed or not.
I think it is because Nothing has couple of wireless earbuds in the market already and they really want people to purchase them. A 3.5mm jack will stymie that.
Curiously, their Nothing Buds support the LDAC codec(though few phones outside Sony do) but many more expensive wireless versions(looks at Sennheiser) don't.
I have a Realme phone and it came with so much bloatware that I can't tell. Dozens and dozens of purely unwanted apps that I had to disable almost all of them to get a decent experience.
Nothing skipped on the SD card for no reason. Their cheaper CMF Phone ships with SD card support, though still not with a 3.5mm jack.
Even their cheaper release CMF Phone didn't get a headphone jack, so I don't think Nothing line is gonna get soon.
I used this client recently and found it decent. Though for some reason, Google Play Protect always(wrongly I assume) picks it out despite downloading from F Droid.
HowtoGeek used to be a legitimately good site back in the day but now has a proliferation of low quality articles. Also, uBlock Origin by default blocks it's links sometimes since they redirect via awstrack.me as well.
Not all phones listed are equally bad though. Nokia Pureview suffered from bad camera quality but I can live with that. What probably is unlivable is exceptionally short battery life, like on the HTC one. Still, an interesting opinion piece, if nothing else.
