.. and corps are never your friend.
Disabled artist, passionate human, and hopefully a better man than the day before.
.. and corps are never your friend.
What else will corporations pay Congress to decide that is in corporations' best interest for us to not see?
Thank you, but it's okay. I only see the positive total on my app. Some people just love the taste of corporate boot leather.
It's funny you mention that. I barely make it 30 minutes at my art receptions of I manage to submit work in a slow. I've been thinking about it and remembering how much of a fight I put up before getting a cane and how much I wished I hadn't waited so long. Probably time to talk to my doc. Thank you friend and I hope you get that chair hacked and at your command.
I understand. I use a cane due to severe inflammatory arthritis and a long list of other crap including a deteriorating spine that's likely to land me in a chair myself in a few years. Trying to build my own ramp into my house a little at a time on good days because it's several thousand dollars to have one built and eventually I won't be able to do it at all. Solidarity in hating it here. I'm in Texas in the US which, well it's run by regressive masochistic asshats.
I'm sorry I don't have any answer, but I just wanted to say I'm sorry you have to go through this to make your life easier. Also I fucking hate unrestrained capitalism.
Even with the best care I wouldn't expect it to last 20 years. The switch is nowhere near a well built machine as the DS was. The controllers will be lucky to last a year. They used arbitration to avoid a lawsuit over how crappy the switch is knowingly built. We've been through three since their inception. That being said they're still a lot of fun. They are trying to integrate the sub more, but it's still avoidable on some games. If you buy one get a hard case or at least a somewhat solid case to help support the console with the controllers connected if you decide to play it that way. The way that they're connected with what destroyed them faster for us because you put too much pressure on the controllers and their connection when holding it. Using a case like this for reinforce the controllers and make them last much longer in my experience.
My family still requires a couple of the services too, although they're decreasing their usage because they love Jellyfin so much. I just had to say that the Paramount+ app is utter garbage, especially in Apple TV. Most annoying was if you triggered the left hand menu by simply trying to navigate to the left then you weren't allowed to exit the menu without making a selection. They also deleted it ignored my watch history so the time too. Also fuck all their forced ads on ad free versions. Just because you call it a promo because it's an ad for your service doesn't make it less of an ad. That's what killed it for me. $173 12th gen i-3 mini pc off Amazon+Jellyfin and I haven't touched the Apple TV in six weeks. No problems encoding anything even 10bit outside my house. Love it.
I just made the switch last month. Even my partner doesn't touch his beloved Apple TV anymore. We'll never go back.
Gotta love that punishment for keeping your private information, well private.
I tried them a few years ago before I knew more about things like this, their CEO, etc. I had a problem with them continuously taking over my home page on desktop with their own homepage (much the way Firefox on android does now) after every update. I contacted them on social media where they went on a two day stent of making fun of me for having a problem and gaslighting me that there was a problem because zero other people had ever complained. Super professional there.
Nothing based on Chrome is an option because Google is evil and thinks it can control my computer, Brave customer service literally made fun of me for not liking the way they took over my homepage regularly years ago, Opera is just adware, and Firefox is about all that's left. Even though it's losing more options every update and on mobile it's complete garbage now with everything centered around their homepage so they can try to serve me ads that I can luckily turn off for now.
I gave up reddit. When Infinity announce a subscription I was done. I didn't want go through all the hassle getting an app key in whatever way when this is easy. Also Reddit CEO is a piece of crap, like pretty much all CEOs.
Too bad Telegram isn't as ready to fight Nazi propaganda on their service, but they would have to start with the white supremacist symbolism their own blog was slipping into release posts.
