There is a youtube video about it. Apparently the algorithm just chooses a direction on every intersection with a simple probability calculation. This means, that the average time increase for any dead-end to the left is 1.424. So your time is base walking time *1.424^n, where n is number of intersections.

You do not want your walking time increase exponentially with walking distance. :kitty-cri-potato:

Undertale is such a small time commitment compared to New Vegas. It's a very compact, truly charming game whose characters and music will carry you through whatever objections you've had to it before. :trans-undertale:

Core functionality of the game is actually a log and it's very easy to revisit things to help your memory. But i found it so compelling, i rushed through it in two settings. It's a truly unique and wonderful game and i can't recommend it enough.

I feel this is trivially true, since "cheese" is such an extremely unspecific term. Mascarpone, Cheddar and Roquefort are all cheese, but i wouldn't put the Roquefort on my vanilla ice cream or in my muesli.

According to statista (generally reliable stats platform in germany) there have been 68 derailments in the whole EU in 2016, which seems in the ballpark where that should be.
