shouts out to the person at work that referred to americans as colonizers.
you really made me feel more welcome than anyone else.
how old is that pic of dore? jesus lol
I hope everyone is as good as can be. The new job is pretty dope, fast-paced, I witnessed an instance of sabotage providing results (idk the people well yet but I want to tell them I respect the move and I'm pleased they got what they wanted), and unlike my last job there may be some possibly lefty coworkers to talk to.
me, followed closely by all of you.
Last night was the first shift that really got out of hand at the new job. Saute gets flustered badly when they get weeded so they jam up the whole counter AND fucks up the morale of the line. It's a difficult and busy position, don't get me wrong, but being a fuckin baby about doing your god damned job is so fucking annoying to be around. "Oh, ugh, I have to cook more food at dinner time? What bullshit!" Maybe try something else, b. I understand that it's not what they ultimately want to do but there are other, less demanding, night jobs.
Anyways, I guess everything else is good. We get beers after work and the crew is cool with me hanging out, even though I've been on a teetotaler kick for very, very nearly a year now. I take some ribbing from some guys but it's in good fun.
I've been adjusting to the new schedule but I really want to get my communist praxis going. I don't know what to do right now. I guess I'm going to look for mutual aid things to do during the day because the one thing I do have is a car, and some daylight time to run errands for people. I thought about joining/becoming more involved in a local organization but idk if that's right for me, my schedule is tough to make meetings and stuff because they're all in the evening.
