apparently it's been like this for 20 years, during that time I was a lib and gave no fucking thought to voting, I used to be a fucking registered republican cuz that's what my parents said I should pick

I read some of my state website shit, apparently for the presidential elections only the party you picked are on your ballot. So I only have dems or demsoc Bernie to vote for. There is a write in option, but it's a literal wasted vote if they don't count it.

If you register no party preference, it also seemed like you don't get to vote for shit unless you specifically ask for the party to be on your ballot. Fucking liberals and their bureaucracy.

Apparently they tried to make it "open" in 96, but some fucker sued, and now it's back to closed (can only vote for party affiliation).

Thanks for posting some evidence that the Greens are helpful to the working class.

    Which ones are green? https://www.cityofberkeley.info/Rent_Stabilization_Board/Home/Meet/Contact_the_Board.aspx

Fuck i just looked at my mail in ballot and see that i can't vote for PSL/greens, i have to vote for Bernie. Fuck California's archaic voting system. I can write them in, but i'm pretty sure my state will just trash my ballot.
