leaders are detached from civs this go round, so you could have china ruled by tubman
i was going to play indiana jones but didn't realized you need a ray traceable card so im outta luck there. still need to finish cyberpunk and wolfenstein the new colossus though.
cyberpunk has been fun, but im still in act two and have already reached max level; getting a bit stale. similarly to witcher 3 ive restarted this game about 5 times before finally getting into it. even after the dlc and multiple updates the game still feels half-baked. multiple ways to do some missions, but they all seem to lead to similar outcomes. atmosphere is pretty cool; very dredd/bladerunner. the story is fairly hohum but compared to most video game writing it's attention grabbing at least.
wolfenstein 2 gameplay somehow feels a bit clumsier than 1, but i am enjoying the story so far. to be fair i havent played 1 since near release. the contrast of blaskowicz dour inner monologue with the games silliness hits me well. ill probably finish it
playing cyberpunk i feel like i just dont have the energy for open world games anymore; however i still find myself going back to openworld games ive already played. not sure whats going on there
as always playing civ 6 and balatro when i dont want to get into a more involved game. maybe need to scope out some gpus to swipe from a truck; im not paying 500 clams for a new card right now
happy holidays to those that celebrate
how else am i going to watch my movies when the power goes out?
novalis theme from ratchet and clank and pretty much all of sim city 4, but shout out to rush hour
nerds will immediately go home after watching a movie to watch a four hour video essay before they can process their own feelings on things
probably 90% of the political ads ive been seeing on tv are fearmongering about trans prisoners and immigrants. one of them had the zinger "they (the dems) only care about they/them, not you". crazy stuff
oil rich area. probably just relatively more going on compared to the surrounding area
mr coffee drip never does me wrong. when im feeling fancy ill get out the percolator. coffee with cream and sugar gives my mouth a waxy feeling, so ill always drink black
when i was a kid i threw up at a cracker barrel cause the only seats were in the smoking section. the peg game is fun though
sending this one to the analysts in new york before an official ruling
played pickleball in the middle '00s. I thought forever that it was some made up or hyper localised thing until everyone and their mother started playing in the past couple years
Never been that in on anime outside of ghibli stuff and akira, but recently started watching neon genesis evangelion. I'm around midway through it and enjoying it quite a bit. The series is a good length for me and has short episodes so it's pretty easy to get through. I know there are a couple of movies and maybe other series, but I may just skip out on thoughts unless there's more to be desired after the of. May watch cowboy bebop after
i forgot about the ammo switching, what a ballache
oho, i'll have to check that out, thanks!
far cry 6 is such a slog. They ai is crazy in 5 and 6, either completely blind or can smell where you are even if you haven't shot a gun. Tried playing 6 again recently and I couldn't put up with it for more than an hour or two. far cry characters aren't necessarily good but they're at least memorable. 6s characters I immediately forgot who anyone was
Been playing baldurs gate 3 and ratchet and clank rift apart here recently, and I've been enjoying both. Only in act one of bg3 but I've already clocked ~30hrs in it playing as a halfling bard. Never played dnd before and was expecting it to be more like divinity original sin but it's definitely not; feel like I've only just now gotten the hang of when to rest and use my limited spells. Really my only complaint right now is having the darn pack limit, super annoying. I know there's probably a mod to eliminate it that I might have to check out. Finding food for camp seems to be super easy so I don't really get why you have to have it for long rests, just let me rest man.
Ratchet and Clank is super fun. I haven't played one since the original trilogy, so when this one came to PC I had to check it out. Not too long, smooth gameplay, and it's still fun to 100% planets.
Also, I'm always starting up civilization 6 and crusader kings 3 games. Easy weekend games to pop in and keep going all day while I do other stuff. Might play oblivion after I'm done with bg3 and r&c. Never played all of it and have a bit of a bethesda game itch after bouncing off starfield. Honestly didn't hate starfield, but I really need some quality of life mods so I'll give it a couple of years.
