If your Linux distro is using btrfs you can format it to btrfs and use btrfs send for backups. Otherwise the filesystem shouldn't be to big if a deal unless you want to restore files from a Windows machine. If that is the case use ntfs
Seafile or nextcloud are my choices. I like seafile because it has an official and documented way to install it but nextcloud works well too just installing it can be tricky. One thing I like about sea file is they have a remote filesystem app that supports Linux and works better than nextcloud and webdav
Debian testing or nixos
If you are using nixos try home manager. Otherwise Ansible is nice for plopping templates and files into your own home directory

There are Alot of terraform users that either use a third party tool that the BSL would make legally impossible or benefit from features like locally encrypted state won't get merged by hashicorp
Container tabs, it respects my privacy, and brave started randomly not painting pages
I use podverse and love it. the other foss setup I have used is antennapod and kasts synced with the gpodder plugin for nextcloud, but kasts was kinda buggy so I switched to podverse
There is a bounty out to get andriod auto support. I use and love podverse
It you have a functioning dual boot don't worry about it. Next install it's worth looking in into and pretty easy to setup. It has trim support for ssds and is way easier to resize on a live system than lvm with another filesystem
Either evolution nheko or console. Even though a terminal emulator is a cop out
