I don't know who crafted the first tweet that simply said "Eve Fartlow," but whoever it was—bot or human—started a fire. Over the past two weeks, Twitter has been littered with the words "Eve Fartlow." Every time I tweet, this title is the response I attract, and it is pelted at me irrespective of what I write. Hundreds of trolls, some with blue ticks and some without, just start responding to me "Eve Fartlow" (some people have recently switched it to "Eve Shartlow" but "Eve Fartlow" seems to be the one that sticks). If we donated a JNF tree to Israel for every time someone tweeted "Eve Fartlow," there'd be no Negev left.

    Writing a prescription for this lady's illness. It's a sheet of paper that says "LOG OFF" on it.

    Edit - She already covered this, saying that logging off was "digital suicide". Holy shit. This is actually posting yourself into mental illness.

    I'm not even joking. I genuinely think she should seek help because this is not a healthy way for someone to think. This is why you should genuinely "log off" lest your brain becomes wormed.

      I'm online way too much. But I post jokes and ask questions at reddit like - "Where can I get 2.5" to 3" wide polypropylene webbing to make a guitar strap?" Spoiler alert - that width is probably not available as retail.

      But if I was enraging myself by being online - I would have become a crazy person more a decade ago. I wonder if on average she checks Twitter every ~3 minutes all day long.
