Feinstein says she’s running in 2024

    When did she say that?

Last year her office did bullshit PR that she filled for technical reasons but she wasn't actually planning on running. And DC reporters are so fucking useless that they didn't put her feet to the fire.

        she’s almost 90

She's older than the Golden Gate Bridge. I wonder how much access the media gets to her. Any at all? If she speaks for more than about a minute it must be clear her brain is rancid clam chowder.

Like I said, I'm sure the plan is for her to die in office so Gruesome Newsom can appoint a neolib heir. Porter is a decent choice for them.

Kevin De Leon (LA City Council Pres) was the "progressive" challenger to Feinstein in 2018. Of course he didn't win and his most recent news story is a leaked recording of his conversation with other LA City Council members where they use racist language and plan a racist redistricting to oust progressive candidates. https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2022-10-14/kevin-de-leon-city-council-racist-recording

His most recent news story is getting into a fight with an activist at a Christmas party.

The "jungle primary" system means a centrist Dem will always be elected. The general election is always between 2 Dems so all the Republicans end up voting for the more conservative of the two.
