Not everything is a secret undercover cabal to serve an incredibly small number of evil-doers with one frame-per-twenty-of-minutes of not-actually-suggestive content - dang.

I fucking hate it when a show sounds like it has an interesting story or premise and then the fucking panty shots show up.

I remember having Made in Abyss recommended to me multiple times and when I discover the anime/manga itself is full of that shit (and worse) and that the author is a huge creep all I hear is “well yeah there is that stuff in it but if you get past it then it’s really good”. No motherfucker I’m not going to excuse a show with regular pedobait because “the story & worldbuilding are good”

It's very blatant and yet that creepy shit gets excuses made for it, including here. "It's just lines on paper it's just zeroes and ones on the internet it's just fictional portrayals of creeping on children entertainment has no effect on its consumers it's a pressure release valve actually she's actually a half demon half angel half vampire that is 1000 years old this is satire actually this is actually empowering and has a vague subtle subversion of the tropes in it this doesn't condone creeping on children even though the camera emphasizes creeping on children why are you a moral scold touch grass touch grass touch grass" :morshupls:

The funniest of these arguments I ever saw was in a argument about loli (which obv a lot worse than normal anime) but one of the defenders said “what if I said you were a bad person bc of something you liked?” Lol

children are mostly water, there's nothing morally wrong about perving on water.

          therefore...
