I have no idea what the fuck's going on most of the time unless I hear about it second hand.

  • I do not watch videos (I am a boomer)
  • I do not listen to podcasts (boomer)
  • I don't use social media except hexbear/lemmy
  • not gonna read the paper or w/e (not that much of a boomer)
  • I only read WSJ/HuffPo/Politico/CNN whatever for the laughs every once in a while

Any good sites you go to for reputable news? Blogs that are not necessarily news but are maybe about the news are good too. Lately I've been reading a lot of Erin in the Morning, for example.

Bonus points if it has an RSS feed

Tbh I get a fair amount from here and my leftist online friends. I do fairly frequently check up on lib news just to see what they're up to though. I do have a few others I check sometimes too, and I like to try and get my different world news from different places than just the US (even if it's often still kinda lib). Like I speak French and can understand Spanish well enough to read the news so for places where those are spoken I'm going to look more at sources in those languages. In terms of specific sources, Kawsachun News/Kawsachun Coca (Spanish version, doesn't have exactly the same articles as the English) are generally leftist and I think decent for Latin American stuff mostly (and Bolivia since that's where they're located)
