Hahahahahahaha, look, any large production at scale is usually going to be at least .001 inches out of tolerance, especially anything that has to be cut in mass at rate, either that or he is going to be fine if a cnc or water jet guy has to recalibrate his entire machine and probably trash one to two pieces after about the first five years making these things, either that or buy a new one or constantly be replacing parts. Like, it is so rare to ever have anything like that kind of tolerance. It is can be accomplished, for small plastic and light light metals constructions, but large vehicles? It's possible but idk if you will ever really make a profit or be able to produce it quickly.

But I suppose, his wealth rides more on notoriety and finance capital than actual production, but come on man, you just got Tesla in the black (not it wouldn't take like 30 years of unprecedented Chinese level growth to produce manufacturing products that actually pay back the amount of money that was lent out towards to it), why are you fucking with this thing? Everyone knows your cars are shit, nobody cares, you're the Apple of cars, just be happy and make money. These idiots will buy whatever slop you sell, just put it out as fast as possible at the very height of the price-demand curve.

Edit: With how this whole thing was reported and marketed, I really think that Elon is responsible for this one, his fans eat this shit for breakfast.
