      My neighbor died of Covid and they were very anti-vaccine. It was sad watching her friends who had the same opinion mourn her death and then just go back to the very opinion that killed their friend.

      Makes me think of a family member who is anti vaccine who told me their neighbor had died and laughed saying 'thinning the herd.'

        It's just really sad all around. And all of it for the sake of poorly defined 'freedom.'

        It's something more selfish than just cognitive dissonance and I'm really struggling to process the mindset that believes this shit.
