Seriously I've lost count of the number of people I've lost, it's at least 20 since the pandemic started. It's not like people forward me articles like "oh here's why COVID is fine now".

It's an iron law to me know, I've seen it so much in my life. Libs CANNOT stomach the idea that they're in the wrong about something. It'll eat them up inside worse than anything.

before covid, it was a yearly tradition for some of my officemates to come in with suspicious allergies in the dead of winter

and then weirdly everyone else started getting allergies right after

and then I'd get allergies and couldn't function for several weeks because I'm disabled

      damn allergies are wild

I had a student come to my office half an hour early when I wasn't expecting them, caught me without a mask, joked about not having seen me without a mask before, and then proceed to cough a bunch owing to 'allergies'.

Want to guess what it wasn't? Allergies.
