iPhones are shit. It's the official phone of yuppies. I'm still on a Samsung Galaxy s10e for fucks sake. And it doesnt have a glass back, which is possibly the stupidest fucking design choice on a phone. They have the glass back to make you buy a case.
is there nothing underneath the glass? i thought the glass was on top of metal or something but i've never had an iPhone. motherfuckers will be like "green bubble!" and then proudly pay $300 to fix something that shouldnt even be on the phone.
Yeah the hole that allows wireless charging to work is a point of weakness. Could easily have been solved with having a bit of plastic backing the glass so that it doesn't cave in like that. Apple could have bragged about how they also used recycled plastic since they like pointing how much recycled material they used in making their newest products.

Yea glass sucks. They can't do metal because wireless charging (and nfc?) won't work and plastic is for the poors.
that said on most android phones, replacement glass costs like $20-30

i think on older iphones the glass was glued on so it was impossible to remove without breaking it.
then the moved to have a metal plate, nfc/wireless charging coil stuck to the glass and made it a bit easier to replace with iphone 14
then there is this, glass is completely separate and it looks like there is a gap between the phone and glass causing it to break with light press.
