The First International Syndicalist Congress was a meeting of European and Latin American syndicalist organizations at Holborn Town Hall in London that began on this day in 1913. The congress was attended by 38 delegates representing 65 organizations from Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, with a total membership between 220,000 and 250,000.

Despite being marked by heated disagreements over both tactics and principles, the Congress succeeded in creating the International Syndicalist Information Bureau as a vehicle of exchange and solidarity between the various organizations, and the "Bulletin international du mouvement syndicaliste" as a means of communication. It would be viewed as a success by almost all who participated.

    Playing the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC.

I really, really hope the story is gonna turn at some point because this is shocking amounts of liberalism so far. I do not like this.

    spoiler

We're saving the president?? And the president is a tough badass who doesn't bail on us at the first opportunity??

The main game had lib shit, sure. But there was literally a quest where the twist was that the politicians are literally mind-controlled puppets. It seemed aware enough to not portray anyone in a position of power as a "good guy".

I have some faith that they'll fix this, because there has been some text in this mission so far from disgruntled workers complaining about how the president is also corrupt. A bunch of things seem way too on the nose. But it's very disappointing to me how much of a fucking bootlicking rube V is so far, and Johnny Silverhand, who has frequently expressed his hatred for every powerful person in the main game, has been shockingly tame so far. V is not questioning her at all. The fucking president who has spent the past 12 years in space. She is the establishment. She commented on how she never wants to be in this part of the country again. THIS GAME IS CALLED CYBERPUNK.

I remain optimistic that there will be a twist and the president will be evil and hopefully we get to fucking shoot her. If that is not what happens, this DLC is astonishingly tonedeaf.
