The only time I go to reddit anymore is if someone on hexbear links to it.
To be honest, I also sometimes visit it if I "google" something (duckduckgo actually) and the most relevant results that turn up are reddit posts. Unfortunately that happens a lot.
Also, I saw @Weedian@hexbear.net mentioning he got hardware banned and you were skeptical. That is definitely a thing. Reddit does all kinds of shady shit like that that you never hear about. For example, I am vote-banned. Any account I make with any device I used back when r/chapotraphouse got banned does not have the ability to upvote or downvote.
