There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror—that unspeakably bitter and awful Terror which none of us has been taught to see in its vastness or pity as it deserves.

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

English-language Palestinian Marxist-Leninist twitter account.
English-language twitter account that collates news (and has automated posting when the person running it goes to sleep).
Arab-language twitter account with videos and images of fighting.
English-language (with some Arab retweets) Twitter account based in Lebanon.
English-language Palestinian Twitter account which reports on news from the Resistance Axis.

English-language PalestineResist telegram channel.

Various sources that are covering the Ukraine conflict are also covering the one in Palestine, like Rybar.

Resources For Understanding The War

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.

Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Pro-Russian

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.

https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.

https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.

https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.

https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.

https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine

Almost every Western media outlet.

https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

Looking increasingly likely that the festival was the site of an actual military battle, complete with Israeli tanks present. Image is sfw

There's also a video of the battle going around but I'm going to refrain from posting it here.

Biden said that this was a rave for peace live on air. These ghouls are lying through their teeth.

Don't you know that Merkavas are weapons for peace? I know that because CNN told me so.

Lol Biden famously made raves illegal in the US back in 1999 or 2001 or something. Pushed flagrantly un-constitutional laws to charge venue owners with crimes including jail time and ruinous fines if anyone was found on the premises with drugs, among other things. It killed most of the US rave scene for a while.

I will admit, I kinda was wondering what was up with that. I at first was like crowd crush? Them was wondering if maybe Hamas did do it. Then I was like maybe some people had guns in the crowd and there was a fight. Seems like some battle happened where a ton of people got killed in the crossfire.

Yeah it sounds like IDF was doing security at the very least but like, they brought tanks to a rave? lmao

I've seen some people claim that the tank was like an hour after the initial fight began.

Do off duty IDF troops still carry their rifles at all times? You used to see pictures of IDF soldiers wandering around in civvies with their rifles all the time, but I've kind of pointedly not paid attention to Israel in years.

I'm trying to figure out how things currently stand. Apparently rules about which soldiers carry their rifles off-base and when they carry them change from time to time, but at least as of two years ago some randos on Quora say there are still significant numbers of IDF soldiers who carry their rifles whenever they're not on base. Likewise, I'm pretty sure that a lot of settlers are completely strapped up, both legally and illegally, having a lot of small arms.

I think it's a reasonable course of inquiry to ask both if armed people were at the music festival, if armed people present engaged Hamas troops, and what Hamas believed about the likelihood of armed IDF troops and armed civilians being present. Settlers are in an unusual position where they're not uniformed soldiers, but many of them are armed and do act as aggressors in the conflict, making their civilian status uncertain. IANAL and don't really know shit about the laws of armed conflict, though I'm also pretty sure the laws of armed conflict weren't drafted to account for genocidal settler colonists.

Yeah I was wondering about this. In a video I saw, I did see an Israeli with a handgun. I'm definitely not qualified to investigate with this, but I wouldn't be surprised if one side saw people with guns as Hamas approached, and someone started to open fire, which clearly resulted in numerous people caught in the fire.
