Does your comment box have the small :) icon on jerboa?
If you click that, it should give you a drop down selector for emojis. If there's a search bar you can hunt there (no need to add ::s this way). Or click the asterix above the search to get past the default ones to the Hexbear custom ones and select manually.

Oh damn. Well, if .world are going to introduce emojis and enough of their userbase use jerboa, maybe it's something the devs will look at some time soon. (idk talking out of my arse just tryna be hopeful?)
