This is why learning additional European languages other than english should be banned in the third world
If everyone just agrees to use ESL as a global language of communication, every single language can be preserved, since being bilingual is pretty easy

I think it's easy for everyone if they're actually raised bilingual. I'm comfortably bilingual despite never being taught, and picking up on what my parents were saying, I think with how widespread english is it would be hard not to be bilingual in it tbh.
it's actually famously difficult to learn a language. A lot of people do not come from multi language households
which is why they'd be brought up in bilingual households (everybody speaks english)
do you want to take kids away from their parents based on which language they speak because that actually might be genocide
obviously not, I'd just make english a mandatory second language taught in schools
I don't know about you but my language schooling was basically a joke
