If your orc culture doesn't have at least a partially fleshed-out conlang with a phonology that accommodates for their tusks then don't talk to me. Just shrinking them so that they're barely fangs is WEAK.
I named my bug lady character exclusively with sounds that do not require lips to make so I'll damn well make sure any orcish that shows up is tusk-friendly

I really appreciate that. What's her name (in IPA, if you know)?
idk what it is in IPA but "Kireza" is her name. The "r" is kind of a trill with the tongue.
the ship's chef is an orc, his name is "Krashi" which thanks to experimenting with shoving my fingers into my mouth proves to be tusk-friendly as well
International phonetic alphabet I think
I meant I'm not copy pasting IPA symbols for a Hexbear post
That's what TypeIt is for! (Not that you should actually bother, but it's a handy way to type IPA if you ever need to)
I appreciate Wizards doing this for Thri-Kreen
Yes, the Dzeturi are a legally distinct desert-dwelling mantid race with blood memories that I created, completely different from the thri-kreen
