keep some in a glass or vase in yr kitchen and just keep waterin. chop some up and fry em in neutral oil, provides a crispy topping and leaves you with some very useful oil (for salad dressing, sauces, etc). or just munch on em. or just look at them if you like
man, I've got some green onions that are at least four years old now outside in a tub. They get covered when it's gonna freeze but otherwise they're pretty abused. Fuckers are thicker around than my thumb, I could make onion rings with them. Those and basil are gardening on easy mode.
haha I'm apparently capable of extreme neglect! I may try planting in a container in the future.
