I'm going to do these periodically.
Title kinda says all.
I'll have my own reply later.

What do you like most about 2023's repertoire of video games?

Baldur's Gate 3 (more or less a addiction in continuous character rerolls) has been my main focus though I'm also trying out Darktide. It's honestly a really good 40k FPS and I love playing an angry Irish accented Zealot gal bashing peeps with a giant electric hammer.
Oh also a bunch of indies I snagged at the fall sale like Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood and I Was a Teenage Exocolonist.
Darktide looks great, but is it true that it has white supremacist hand-signals? Anyway, Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is a game I have my eyes on.
In all honesty the devs are mainly European who are likely unaware of how the US far right turned the 'OK' signal into a dogwhistle, but yeah the psyker dose something that can be either an 'OK' symbol or some form of meditative handsignal. The more worrisome aspect of the game is in relation to how 40k fandom has had a Neo-Nazi problem due in part to having a faction that is a fascist state similar to Starship Troopers and in which no one understands it was made as parody.
Apparently, the "neo-Nazi problem" has gone down recently due to certain projects and an influx of newer fans, from what I've heard.
GW also issued some good statements on the subject as well, it's better than how it was in the 2000s, Battletech is going through a similar process as well.
Oh yeah, Battletech has made improvements.
