This is assuming mail-in voting or even voting from your phone so it wouldn't be like the normal hassle. Basically, if the approval rating drops below 50%, they're out. I’d also set the approval count to be “more than the total of votes for them”
As setting it as a percentage is hard. Mostly because it means people have to defend the elected official ALL THE TIME.
