thought the one piece ep was interesting as well. it's also interesting the extent to which that particular bit is an invention of the anime specifically. which isn't to clear oda for his crude drawings, but the cover stories are significantly less in the manga than how they got adapted in the toei animation.
i agree that inazuma is one of the most interesting characters in this regard. it's clear that it's a private part of inazuma's life and other characters are respectful of that.

I noticed that too. The anime took the gag and went full transphobic with it. There are still problematic aspects in the manga but they're not as offensive as what the anime depicts.
He's not wrong in thinking revolutionary people are weirdos. Leftists tend to think outside the mindset that the majority are more than happy to accept. That usually leads to us being viewed as odd.
