    It's good that they aren't sugarcoating the destruction but that's grim. I wonder if the writer meant to be poetic.

      even if just one building was destroyed it wouldn't be wrong to call that the ruins of Gaza, I don't think they're saying all of Gaza s ruins necessarily.
