Has Hamas killed any NCOs?

It kinda makes sense, ideologically. Old Europe turned the children of its ruling class into officers if they wanted to play war. What do you do in an apartheid settler colony where every citizen is part of the ruling class? It also makes it look like it's military is experienced, confirming to new recruits that they're properly under threat from Palestinians, and real war makes room for promotions. Sign up now, the military needs you and you'll be promoted.

This makes me think OP's question is answered as a case of the former leading to the latter (over promoting bums for propaganda purposes, and those bums not knowing how to handle things)

Not to mention, they're mostly accustomed to shooting Palestinian children and non combatants

Given the US military prides itself on its strong NCOs being the foundation of its combat operations, you have to wonder if there aren't some portions of the US military absolutely livid that the government is forking money hand over fist to Israel only to put on this kind of charade.

Instead of getting blown the fuck up from in front or behind while hiding inside your APC after running over your own infantry support, multidimensional commanders can be shot from below or the sides or from above as well

Fascists are almost always at a slight disadvantage in warfare because their belief in their inherent superiority to the people they are fighting, a product of the racist and xenophobic mentality often used by fascists to promote false consciousness and distract from the contradictions of capitalism, keeps them from objectively evaluating their opponent’s capabilities

Some podcast I was listening to this last week (I think it was the Deprogram) talked about the IDF using fast track promotion systems to help with propaganda campaigns. Get somebody who normally rides a desk a really high sounding rank, put them in front of a camera and let the Rear Admiral General Secretary of the IDF (23, F) talk about how its okay to bomb hospitals and ambulances because .. HAMMAS!

If you like the recent episodes and want another good listen, go back to last year when the floods hit eastern Kentucky. They had an excellent run of episodes dealing with the causes of the disaster and it's aftermath. When they have something to sink their teeth into they can really run with it. Don't get me wrong, I like when they shit post and make dick jokes, but they are genuinely insightful and intelligent when they want to be

Actually haven't listened to the Trillbillies in months... I'm pretty confident that where I heard it from was the Decolonize Palestine episode 105 (106?) of The Deprogram.

Good to know the info is being spread around by everybody though. they-were-comrades

an ambush in the ruins of Gaza

It's good that they aren't sugarcoating the destruction but that's grim. I wonder if the writer meant to be poetic.

even if just one building was destroyed it wouldn't be wrong to call that the ruins of Gaza, I don't think they're saying all of Gaza s ruins necessarily.

It was so funny how in the weeks leading up to the Gaza invasion the idf-cool amassed on the borders and barked at Gaza like a dog does the mailman only to look around at each other and realize how pathetic their military had become as they shit their guts out from the shigella infections they gave each other. It's 100% US bombs that are even keeping the IOF scum in this fight. The IOF were too pussyass scared to leave their US-funded Merkavas and risk their bodies and lives for this genocide they wanted so badly so guys were just walking up to the tanks and blowing them up on foot with zero infantry support. An army of cowards.

Wishing all IOF officers a happy :red-arrow:

They bombed Gaza into rubble before sending ground troops in. Something that makes zero sense because it turns the urban environment into something even more advantageous for the defenders. Then they are surprised that Hamas and other resistance forces are taking advantage of the mountains of rubble filling streets to stage ambushes.

It would have been one thing if they sent ground troops in and called in airstrikes on fortified enemy positions whenever they met resistance but they turned the entire city into rubble beforehand. I almost feel bad for the IOF idiots I see in videos getting filled with lead as they try to climb through rubble. A lot of those locations don't look like it's possible to get infantry fighting vehicles or heavy weapons into because the streets are impassable for anyone but people on foot.

I wonder if it's just grifting the US. like the funds the US sends have to be spent on the military, so they make everyone generals and justify giving their own citizens huge pay for no reason?

The IOF is basically just cops with missiles and tanks. They implode the moment they have to do any fighting at anything remotely near parity. They're only in their element when they have a population of unarmed civilians to brutalize with rifles and clubs. Shoot an IOF loser and all of them lose composure.

Also many of them are conscripts.
