I'm not super knowledgeable about the ROK "witch" thing, but a quick internet search says she's involved with a cult called the Church of Eternal Life, founded by her father, that syncretizes traditional Korean shamanism with Buddhism and Christianity, which he founded after converting from being a Buddhist monk to being a Presbyterian. I'm also reading that her and her father both used their politics influence to secure donations to their businesses.
