    I think it was Hasan who touched on this thought process recently in the U.S. population in particular, that they're so used to drone striking brown people that it doesn't really register and is considered a more pure form of warfare, but Palestinians going out and shooting people they can see in front of them is more visceral.

        Israel is shooting so many bombs that it's impossible to be surgical for all of them, although I'm sure some of them are carefully targeted when they want a particular ambulance or journalist dead.

      Reminds me of how the Romans would complain about ambushes being "uncivilised" in warfare because they rarely used them and would almost always lose a battle when they were ambushed.

        And doesn't it seem to you even more cowardly to drop napalm bombs on defenseless villages, so that there are a thousand times more innocent victims? Of course, if we had your airplanes it would be a lot easier for us. Give us your bombers, and you can have our baskets.
