I think I have it, but my covid test came back negative. I'm going to take it again just to be sure. Staying home and not spreading it--recognize my privilege that I'm able to stay home. USA, capitalist hellscape, even after going through worst pandemic in 100 years, still doesn't alot mandatory sick days for workers.

if you're a canuck the green box tests lack sensitivity after their tests results in the trials were adulterated https://globalnews.ca/news/10183219/covid-test-supplier-canada/

i assume the different colour of boxes mean different manufacturer, if that assumption is true than yes. you do have other options, i grabed a single box (1 free per person) containing 5 tests from costco, the box colour was blue and white.

the green box tests should work if you have a high viral load tho, and i suppose you could include swabbing your mouth and back of throat to help catch them covid particles on the swab.

The pandemic for me was when I just kind of gave up on the US ever getting better healthcare without a revolution. Like M4A? It ain't happening here, we'd rather everybody die or end up disabled than have worth-a-shit healthcare.

With recent variants it seems that it's possible to test negative on a nasal swab but positive on a throat swab.

Be sure to do both nose and throat, instead of one or the other. The latest variant is present in your lungs again (so it gets in your nose), unlike Omicron.

“BA.2.86 has regained a trait characteristic of early SARS-CoV-2 lineages: robust lung cell entry,” the authors wrote.
