this has to be some 3D trolling i don't believe someone making this wouldn't notice that they're attaching the supposedly positive actions to drawings of doo-doo diapers

Like "secure the border"?? That's what really stuck out to me, when has even the most right-wing 'lib' said the border needs to be secured?

It used to be far more common. Before Trump. Maybe Dubya turned Democrats against it too a bit, but not sure. Obama certainly contributed to fascist immigration policy and border militarization, but he probably did it a bit more covertly, without taking open and explicit credit and bragging about it as much. If you go back to Clinton, though, he was all about openly criminalizing immigration, and the democrats' fan base ate it up at the time.

I've heard plenty of libs argue the same position on border control as repubs essentially, usually they frame it like "we don't have endless resources to help everyone, as much as we'd like to" versus something like "we seized drugs and stopped ILLEGALS!" Maybe they are tired of trying to differentiate themselves from right-wingers.

Yeah. When the best you can get out of a progressive liberal is "as much as we'd like to". LOL.

Since 2016 I've actually seen a lot of the online ones argue that "Stupid lefty. Even Bernie Sanders is against open borders, because it hurts American workers!!!" That might mostly be a reddit-logo troll problem, but don't know.
