Being very thirsty and urinating often are common diabetes symptoms. In people who have diabetes, extra sugar — which also is called glucose — builds up in the blood. This forces the kidneys to work overtime to filter and absorb the extra sugar. When the kidneys can't keep up, extra sugar goes into the urine.

Some people do it because they read an article that told them that if they didn’t drink 12 gallons of water a day that their asshole would fall out (they don’t trust their kidneys). Some people carry around several cups: one for caffeination, one for hydration, one for taste, etc. A lot of people just carry their caffeinated coffee milkshakes around.
Valid. I like to fill a cup with so much ice that it hurts my throat when I chug because it’s so cold. Despite my disdain for the consumerism involved, I also have a giant cup on my desk most times.
i use a water bottle with ice so i have water at hand without needing to worry about it, i drink when i'm thirsty. it's smaller than ones a lot of people i see have though
what's the deal with americans and obscenely large beverages? i looked up a picture of one and these things are enormous
These are for putting in car cup holders. Many Americans commute 2+ hours per day. Their entertainment while driving is radio and drinking beverages.
I know somebody who puts Netflix on their phone and sticks it in the gauge cluster to watch while driving and also never wears a seatbelt.
take out a life insurance policy on them
Believe it or not that's the best possible system for humans to travel to work. Death machines where the pilots are barely paying attention.

Everyone develops as much bladder control as they can. If that fails, there are gas stations every few miles of highway.
For people doing long drives regularly, people pee in bottles.

I use a water bottle because then i dont have to go out of my way to refill it every time i need a little sippy sip

Yeah that’s the only way I can drink water is having it on hand. I will go completely without hydration otherwise.
