I'm gonna copy the ideas for discussion from the previous threads but these are just my suggestions, feel free to discuss whatever you wish.

  • Do you want to share something you've done in the previous week? Everything counts, nothing is too small.
  • What would you like to do next week?
  • What aspect of life would you like to improve?
  • Do you have any streaks? For example, "sober for one day." Feel free to post your streak every day in this thread.
  • If you don't have a continuous streak, did you manage to abstain from something for a day or more?
  • Did you come across some useful information or resource that might help others?

    I'm making the effort to be more prepared and organised this semester, which will hopefully help to combat my depression. I've been making my bed every morning, which I used to not do, planning out my lunches a bit more, and the biggest thing is that I've been trying to cut out binge eating. Last year I gained a lot of weight because I would go to the supermarket and buy 4 big cookies and eat them in one day. It never satisfied me and I always felt bad afterwards but I wasn't able to resist the temptation. So this year I'm cutting that out. Small treats are allowed, in moderation. I'm also trying to attend college much more than last year, often last year I would skip two or three days of lectures a week and end up feeling isolated and unproductive. My biggest break is that I've finally settled in with a good group of friends in college, three years in. I'm I a dnd group, we play weekly and it's really fun. So I'm hoping overall this semester will be a lot better than the last
