Is covid-liberalism a bannable offense in c/covid?

I'm getting really fucking weary of seeing sentiments like, "being upset about someone scheduling a non-emergency dental appointment in the middle of the second largest covid wave is deranged" or "you're a selfish asshole for expecting your loved ones to do the bare fucking minimum to protect you" in discussions on masking or vaccine uptake

I know I'm not the only one disappointed in the growing anomie. Maybe we should operate more like c/vegan where everything from omnivore apologia to overt antiveganism (analogous to the above anti-precaution/anti-max/anti-vax-apologia) is forbidden, and posting/commenting as much gets you a ban?

I knew Hexbear had given in to being plague rats when there was massive discourseTM and treat-defending on Barbenheimer when the only thought I had was, "you fuckers willingly jumped into the Covid death trap called movie theaters for the sake of two fucking movies. You risked getting long Covid and infecting other people with Covid for two shitty movies you won't even remember in 5 years." I sympathize if you're talking about an important social gathering like a wedding or if you're trying to organize with people who unfortunately are plague rats, but how much of a fucking treat-brained plague rat do you have to be to not wait 6 goddamn months before those movies show up on Netflix?

It's Joever for the broader site.

But it's fine! According to some posters I've seen yesterday, long covid just goes away and cures itself if you don't get covid for a couple of months!!

You can get some free from the USPS here: https://faq.usps.com/s/article/At-Home-COVID-19-Test-Kits but I also live in a lib city so we still have tents that offer PCR tests

          Just the US

Yeah it’s unfortunate how infrequently they offer you tests, sometimes they let you order twice which is what happened the last time I ordered some. Luckily I have the benefit of free testing where I am but two tests alone cost upwards of 25 or more. IIRC there are more resources available online but I would have to check again. We’re working on a sidebar for this comm so we might be able to find some more info

being wrong about a movie is not necessarily correlated or related to being dumb about covid. i am probably the exact person you're raging about but i acknowledge that it was fucking stupid to go to the movie theater.
